Astra Antiques Centre has been established on-site at Hemswell since the 1980s and a lot has changed through the years. One thing that has stayed intact over time, is the look and feel of the former RAF Base. We wanted to put together the definitive History of RAF Hemswell and proudly display it in the entrance of our Centre.
As you now enter our building, you will find the x6 boards set out for your viewing pleasure. Though after the many hours of hard work we have put in for piecing together the History of the base, through its inception to the modern day, we wanted it to feature on our Website, for you to browse at ease.
